I thought you might of some assistance to a Swiss expectant-mother moving to NYC. Not only is she new to the United States, but she is looking for someone who has gone through the same experience to speak with her about having a baby in the United States and specifically in New York City. My company, Cartus, is an international relocation firm based in Chicago. In support of international relocations we produce one to two day cross-cultural training sessions. During these programs, participants hear from a variety of presenters on daily life, business, social customs and history. This particular program is for a younger couple from Switzerland. It is taking place on August 16 & 17, 2006 in our offices in Manhattan. The best fit would be someone from Switzerland who could speak on the above topics, but if there is anyone from Europe interested, please her contact me. The presentation would last 1.5 hours.Cartus does offer an honorarium and reimburses for reasonable transportation expenses (round trip mileage, train, bus, taxi, etc.).
