About Mom in the City

Founded in 2005, Mom in the City hosts various Moms-Night-Out and family activities throughout the year.  We also offer our members special offers, discounts and giveaways.  To join the fun, please email your name, zip code and referral source to elist@mominthecity.com. 

Founder
Mom in the City's founder, Kimberly, writes and speaks about parenting in the NYC Metro area.  A graduate of Columbia College, Kimberly worked in various research and finance positions in corporate America for eight years.  She left Time Inc. when she had her first son in 2004 and is currently focusing on writing and public speaking.  Kimberly is also the New York Metro (covering NYC, Long Island and Northern NJ) editor and parenting guide for BabyZone.com /ParentZone.com   Kimberly also has a weekly column in Harlem News, Queens News, Brooklyn News, and Bronx News community newspapers.  She lives in Manhattan with her amazing husband and their two wonderful, energetic sons.
