I received a pineapple as part of the food-filled parting gift bag from last night’s event. When I saw the pineapple, I thought:
1.) Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? (Sponge Bob Square Pants)
and
2.) Ooh…pineapple. I know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow…a tropical smoothie!
I love smoothies and this one was simple to make. It was actually my first time cutting a pineapple. You just chop off the stalk, top and bottom of the pineapple first. Then, you stand it up and cut off the rest of the skin. (You can get a good visual of the process at www.howtocutapineapple.com.) It’s definitely worth the bit of work to enjoy the fresh, sweet pineapple.
