K=Kim (me); M=Michael (my four year old son)…
K: I’m so glad that you and Sean are my sons.
M: Well, I’m not glad that you’re my mommy. I want another one.
K: Oh really? Tell me who you’d like to be your mommy and I’ll see what I can do about it.
M: I’ll whisper it in your ear.
K: OK.
M: (whispering) I want Beauty (from Beauty and the Beast) to be my new mommy.
K: Oh, really?
M: Yes, I want Beauty and the Beast to be my new family.
K: Alright, I’ll see what I can do.
M: That’s ok. I’m just playing. I’ll stay with y’all.
(I thought so, my little Southern city boy!)
