Giveaway:
-Parents.com recently launched a new web store, the Parents.com store, that sells baby gear, toys for kids of all ages and much more. To celebrate, they’re holding daily giveaways until April 18th. Visit http://win.parents.com/ to enter.

Bloggers:
-Do you want to go to BlogHer, but can’t afford it? Perhaps you can win your way there. Enter Mabel’s Labels Blogher’09 contest and/or Label Daddy’s BlogHer 09 Contest in partnership with MomDot.com.

Also….

-SUPERVALU recently announced the launch of “nutrition iQ™,” a “unique nutrition information program designed to help consumers make better-informed, better-for-you food choices right at the store shelf.” To learn more about nutrition iQ, go to www.nutritioniq.com.

And lastly,

-Slurp & Burp is offering 50% off everything in stock while supplies last by entering code “thanks” at checkout. In addition, shipping costs will be refunded if a customer posts/blogs about the sale and sends Missy (missyreder@gmail.com) the link.

They are offering this sale in an effort to reduce inventory as they simply cannot afford to test all of our fabrics under the upcoming CPSIA requirements. They will test and continue to manufacture (USA as always) their most popular colors. They are also coming out with a new line this spring- also made in the USA.

(Slurp & Burp is a nursing accessory that covers mom but not her baby. Using a Slurp & Burp allows mom to maintain her modesty without drawing attention. Please visit www.slurpburp.com if you have not yet learned of this product.)

My favorite Sesame Street character is who else but; BIG BIRD!!! I have a 9 year old grandson who has Auspergers Disease, high functioning autism and cerebral palsy. His mom has to watch him 24/7 so DVD’s like this keep him still and happy and most of all safe for short periods of time.
