Have you seen the funky, new Pepsi Throwback television spots? Here’s one below:
This spring, Pepsi and Mountain Dew are being offered in a special retro formula with packaging inspired by the ’60s and ’70s, sweetened with (gasp!) natural sugar. In honor of this promotion, Pepsi is offering one lucky Mom in the City reader a “refreshingly rad retro” throwback package valued at $150. It features the following items:
• Pepsi Throwback Trucker Cap
• Retro Pepsi Tin Lunch Box
• Retro Clock Radio/CD Player
• USB Lava Lamp
• Pepsi Throwback & Mountain Dew Throwback
(FYI: Pepsi Throwback will be available nationwide for about 8 weeks beginning April 20 in 20-oz retro designed single-serve bottles and 12-pack cans.)

My favorite aspect would have to be my birth of course! 1966 was a very good year. Other than that I would have to say the music.
I liked the hippies, flower power, the beatles and other great music, make love not war, bell bottom jeans, fringed jackets and purses……….. to name a few.
I was born in 1978,but grew up on 60’s and 70’s music.I love Elvis,The Carpenters,CCR,ect.Thanks!
I wasn’t born until 83… but I do love the music from the 60s and 70s!!!
My favorite aspect was the t.v. shows. Man, there were too many good ones to start naming them all…and I liked the glass soda pop machines. Something about them was just real nifty.

Unfortunately, I was born in November of ‘79…but I LOVE the music from the 60’s and 70’s, and really enjoy watching TV Land with my kids, which celebrates that exact time in history. It’s nice to think of a time when you could watch most of what was on TV without worrying about the kids’ “Virgin Ears”!!!!
