Discovery 925 Bluetooth headset (Mother’s Day Giveaway)

Last month, I learned so much about simple ways to live a healthier “greener” lifestyle. In particular, I learned some things from Rodale.com in regards to cell phones. It’s recommended that users use a speaker, headset, Bluetooth or other earpiece in order to limit exposure to electromagnetic radiation from cell phones. A Bluetooth hands-free device is recommended for long conversations because the “electromagnetic field of the earpiece is 1/100th of the cell phone itself”.
That’s why I’m excited that today’s giveaway will be a Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth headset in “Majestic Purple”.
Even when it comes to “tech” things, I like the cute factor. That’s why I picked the purple color. The headset also comes with a matching, lipstick-sized charging case which holds a full charge, (for when you can’t plug in). It’s compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled phones and is available online for around $75. (They can also be found at major electronic retailers.)

The color is awesome and the fact that the case charges it! =) I still haven’t gotten once since they made it a law out here in CA, it’s about time I get on it.
The technical aspects are great, but if I have to be honest, it’s the design that I heart most!

I love that it is stylish! I have avoided a headpiece in the past because I thought they looked ugly! Now I WANT ONE!
First off I like the design. That is what got my attention. The look is not as bulky and unattractive as the mens long black ear pieces are. I have had larger pieces and have felt so self conscious with those pieces on. In addition to that it is a safety mechanism for those of us busy mom’s who are always on the go while talking to hubby, making appointments, paying bills and tending to the kids. A mom on the go needs equipment that is reliable and with the extended talk time errands can be run without the need to carry the phone, the baby, the purse, and everything else….Moms know what I mean…lol…..
