I know that I’m a city mom because…

1. I use parks and playgrounds as my “backyard”.

2. I have to come up with a variety of things to keep my kids’ entertained during the school commute via subway.

and
3. My social calendar is filled with more kids’ birthday parties than adult gatherings. (Granted, that’s practically every mom at some point or another.)

Because of point #2 (the 3 – 4 hours/day commute to preschool for Michael each day), I can have pretty much whatever I want for Mother’s Day this year. Fortunately for my husband, I only asked for a Duane Reade gift card. Drug/convenience stores to me are like toy stores to kids – I could spend all day in them!
Are you asking for anything special this Mother’s Day?

I am asking for a Target Gift Card, there is always something there I could get… or could get for my daughter…
We don’t exchange gifts for Mother’s Day/Father’s Day…we just make it a day of total leisure and pampering.
I’ve been hinting to a “free day” with a spa @ a luxury hotel for a few hours.
I mentioned an entire night and day, but I will probably go crazy if I couldn’t see my family for the entire day. LOL!
Last year I received gift cards from my favorite stores.
