Aunt LaLa’s Log (Mother’s Day Giveaway)

There are a lot of different baby journals on the market, but “Aunt LaLa’s Log” is one of my new favorites. These stylish, handmade baby journals that are specifically designed for a newborn’s first three months would make a great gift for an expecting or new mom. (They even have a version for twins.) Anything that helps moms stay organized during those life-changing first three months is tops in my view!
I was sent the “Blue Lattice” Boy Design log to review. (The journals come in boy, girl and generic designs.) The spiral log is very well constructed. There is room for basic information about the baby and then three months of pages to log feedings, diapers changes, sleep and miscellaneous items worth noting. I especially like that you can start the journal at any time, because you write in the day/date. I also like that each day is broken up into hour segments from 12am – 11pm (for some reason 1/2 hour segments make pages too “busy” for my eye). The journals (which retail for $29.99) are currently available online and will soon be featured in high end baby retailers.
