Congrats to the winner: Leann S
So many people entered to win the $100 HP gift card for Mother’s Day that I decided to give away another one for Father’s Day! (I have 3 cards in total – for a chance to win the third one, visit this post about my new tagline contest.)

To enter, please share how “Dad” (yours or your kids) uses technology to make his life more simple in the “Comments” section below by Monday, June 15th at noon.
For additional entries:
1. Link to this giveaway post on your blog.
2. Follow me on twitter. (If you’re already following me, you can tweet about this giveaway.)
3. Leave a comment on any of my other (non- giveaway) posts until June 15th.
Good luck!

While my dad wasn’t always the most techno savvy person, he now loves to text just to tell everyone quick messages rather than calling us.
my dad is well into his 80’s and a little forgetful so the GPS we got him is a godsend.

My dad is an artist who is constantly on the road. His GPS system eliminates him having to pull over and search a map!
I posted on Father’s Day Gift Ideas and Father’s Day Celebrations. (Thanks for these helpful posts!)
My husband (father of 1.5) is a gamer. He uses his computer to relieve stress and help him relax after a long day at work.
My father uses his computer to browse the internet, but also likes the occasional First person shooter game to relax.
I use a GPS when traveling.
My dad always carries his cellphone and flashlight in his big rig when he is traveling across country. Just in case of emergencies. He also has onstar in his truck.
I’m sad to report that the only technology that my father uses is his answering machine, which we adult children forced him to get so that we could leave messages!

I lost my Dad before there was a great deal of technology. He did love the cordless phone I gave him for Father’s Day years ago. I’d give anything to see him again.
I commented on your review of the new TNT series Hawthorne.

I would spend this on a great HP printer.
My husband uses lots of awesome technology to make his life easier. He uses a GPS to travel for work or play, he uses a Zune to listen to music HE wants to listen to, he uses a computer to look up information, keep in touch and play games. Isn’t technology wonderful?!?
I don’t know how we would stay sane without technology! My dad uses his cell phone to keep in touch with us and find out about and receive pictures of his first grandbaby.

y guy gets all his news from the internet… he reads many papers from around the world so he can get an idea of what’s really happening.
He rarely goes to a store, he orders most of his purchases online.
my father is a self taught computer guru. he bought the old (i mean dinosaur) computers and tore them apart and rebuilt them to come up with a suitable alternative computer. one day id like to get him something real great, but he enjoys the parts. this would help him with his quest for the greatest computer put together by an average guy…hes fun thanx
My dad is currently trying to register and take classes online, the computer he has doesn’t really work that well for that. It several years old, and it freezes up on him alot.
My husband uses the internet to communicate with his friends.
