7/27 Update: Due to some serious technical issue, producers of The Great Russian Water Circus are postponing the show until 2010. As such, this giveaway has been canceled.

I have read great things about “THE GREAT RUSSIAN WATER CIRCUS” (www.russianwatercircus.com) a new show that will be coming to the NYC area in September. So, I’m happy that they are offering one lucky Mom in the City reader a Family Four-Pack of tickets ($180+ value) which are good for the show dates between 9/18 and 9/28.

WOW! I love this site for introducing me to happenings in my own backyard!!! My 5 year old would LOVE acrobatics and gymnasts. She would be fascinated with animals in water and I think, since she has a fear of water, seeing all the fun things you can do in water would be a learning tool for me to help her get over her fear or at least minimize it!

  2. Elka says:

This sounds fantastic – my daughter Kaia (whose Hawaiian name means “the ocean”) actually loves to pretend that we are synchronized swimmers when we are in the pool so I think she would be completely fascinated by this event. Thanks again for keeping us posted on all of these cool new events and opportunities!

This looks amazing! I love sharing events with my boys, since I think experiences are worth so much more than toys so here’s hoping I win!

I checked the site and would love to see the animals acts that are performed right in water! I think that would be amazing!

Thank you for such a wonderful giveaway!

my kids have “swimming-phobia”, actually I can’t swim myself either. Perhaps a water show like this would encourage and excite them to swim. I think the animal acts sounds fascinating

  7. I would love to take kids to this one! Sounds awesome, especially I would like to see the fire & water together – interesting!! My kids love to swim, and going to shows, this would be so cool for them.

It is the first time I hear about a water circus. So I’m very curios about it. My daughter LIana loves the water so I know she would love this circus.

  10. Gloria says:

When I told my daughters about this they were amazed people dance in the water :) Also, I think they are thrilled that there will be a giant pool of water. It will be the biggest they have seen. I think because this whole family loves the water to see this show would be great. To my kids it’s like people acting like fish. Almost like seeing the little mermaid in action. I just think it would be such a nice thing to see for them. Thank you for the chance to win tickets to this show!

My granddaughters love the circus and performing in every way. They love to “float” around the room trailing scarves like watery fish everywhere–My husband and I love to take them to new and exciting performances and would love to be able to show them a new kind of circus. They love swimming and I’m sure they would try to incorporate all of the acts in their own play. Thanks for the opportunity to win tickets to this super show.
