• If you don’t know where to start, start with white. White plates and platters — food looks great on them. Accent with all kinds of fun bowls, napkins, vases, place mats, etc. and keep non-perishable foods on hand — like jars of great olives, nuts, crackers, etc.
• Instead of a full bar, serve a signature cocktail at your next party. It’s budget friendly and chic!
• Don’t be a hero. Design your menu around things you do well, and experiment with just one or two new things to add to your repertoire without adding to your stress level!
• Choose a culinary theme for your party — whether it’s “spicy Latin flavors” or “Autumn comfort foods” or “fresh from the market” – a focus will help you streamline your shopping and insure that flavors work well together.
• Get your home party-ready. Clear away clutter and add some fun accent pillows and candles. Little touches make a big difference.

I have always love the elegant and classic look of Wedgewood. I enjoyed reading these very simple and easy tips, and they will come in handing over the upcoming holiday season!
I think these tips are spot on. We use our best plates and silverware when entertaining. They do make a statement about you.
