Holiday Giveaway: Leap Frog Tag
November 7, 2009 by Kimberly · 50 Comments
I reviewed the Leap Frog Tag on this post. I wrote:
I was sent the LeapFrog Tag Reading System (32 MB) for Michael. I had my husband download the software for the system. He used the enclosed CD to install the Tag reader program. (He did it while I was out, but he said that it was “easy”.) I liked the system before school started, but I especially like it now. In addition to his daily homework, Michael is expected to read for 20 – 30 minutes a day. The fact that the reader has the ability to read word by word helps to break up the monotony. It’s not just the reading though. The smart thing is the book titles that are available – there is a mix of classics and kids’ current favorites (i.e. Ben10, Spiderman, etc.). Right now, Michael is in a Spiderman phase. “I’m going to be Spiderman when I grow up” is what he tells me. Okay. Anyway, I have found him reading the Spiderman book over and over without prompting. I love it!

I really do believe that the Tag helps to make reading more fun for kids, so it makes a great educational toy gift. That’s why I’m happy that Leap Frog is giving one lucky Mom in the City reader a Leap Frog Tag and two books.
To win the Tag and books, let me know your child’s favorite book in the “Comments” section below by December 4th at noon. For an additional entry, comment on an “Ask & Answer” or any other non-giveaway post during the promotion period.
