My oys help with the laundry and dishwasher. Whether they like to is up for discussion!
my 6 yr old daughter likes to help me organize the book shelf. She loves reading, and is very particular about the way she organizes her books.
My kids love to help me mop. We bought my son a mop at the toy store when he was 2 or 3, now that there are two kids, they seriously fight over the mop. Sometimes, I purposely wait until they are in bed to mop – to avoid what seems like a needless fight – maybe I should capitalize on it and let them do the whole mopping?
My 3 & 1/2 year old son does it all! He empties the dishwasher, washes dishes, mops, sweeps, vacuums, and even cleans the glass! But the vacuum is definatly his favorite!
Washing dishes in the sink is always a blast. I think that it is all of the water and bubbles.
Both my kids love to swifter. If only I had a mini one for them my house would always be dust free!
My kids definitely like to pretend to vacuum!
I commented on your “Do You Take Winter Family Vacations?” post.
My son loves to help with the dishes. Have no clue where he got this from. We don’t have a dishwasher, so I find this task too overwhelming. I think he just likes playing in water.
My son likes to hold the dust pan when I sweep. Thanks for the chance.
My son loves dust sweeping.
The dishwasher is like wonderland for my little girl. It takes a little longer to get the job done, but she is so serious while she hands me every dish and utensil, one by one.
My oldest likes to help with the dishes. I expect him to grow out of that right about the time he becomes capable of actually getting them clean. My middle son loves to help pick up and put away shoes and toys. Thinks he’s playing basketball!

My tot loves the dust pan and brush lately! She pretend to pick up dust off the floor and pretty much any other surface she can find! I think she would adore this!!
Ironically my son likes to help vacuum and also to sweep
My 1 1/2 year old is obsessed with sweeping! Every broom he sees beccomes a toy for him.
Well I have to say at 17 months she is only really “helpful” with cleaning up her own toys and even that is not always true. I can’t wait to play “cinderella before she went to the ball” with her!

One likes to dust, so we have her do all the low spots, like the coffee table and around the baseboards, another likes to load the dishwasher and our youngest 3 seems to like to put socks together when I do laundry. They all seem to pitch in when needed.
My son really likes to help vaccum and it has even became a fight because he enjoys it so much this would be great for him!
Liz likes helping put the wet laundry into the dryer. She also tries to sweep.
My daughter likes helping me wash the dishes. She dries. She feels grown up and loves having a chat with me with we work through the dirty plates.
My daughter loves to help me dust!
This would be so great! My daughter has been looking for a vacuum for my granddaughter and she said she can’t find any. Would this make her day! Thank you!

My son is a little helper and this gift would make him feel like he’s really helping mom. I think it’s a great idea to teach him to do chores at age 3.
Dusting is they favorite. He uses a little feather duster to help me and it’s so much fun to watch him work so seriously!
