Holiday Giveaway: Manny’s Fix-it Motorcycle

Fisher Price Manny’s Fix – it Motorcycle is included in my holiday gift guide this year. I wrote:
I first saw this toy at the Toy Fair earlier this year. I knew that it would be a hit for several reasons. First, it’s Handy Manny, a very popular preschool character. (My kids don’t watch the show as much anymore due to changes in their schedules, but it was a past favorite.) Secondly, it features a cool motorcycle. Lastly, I think that kids will enjoy tinkering around with the different parts. They can change the bike into a chopper by following the enclosed blueprints. I really like how these Manny toys really help the kids to feel like mini mechanics.

Below is the company’s description of the train:
Handy Manny’s Fix-It Motorcycle Set: Peel out for fun with Handy Manny’s Fix-It Motorcycle Toy Vehicle. Manny’s off to his next job on a cool motorcycle with Rusty and Felipe in the sidecar, ready to fix any mechanical problem. The Manny action figure is poseable on or off the bike, which can also be customized into a sleek-looking chopper or rebuilt when it breaks. Features over 15 fix-it jobs. In Fix-It mode, Manny talks you through fixes and indentifies parts. In Customize mode, Manny tells you how to customize and identify parts. Features English and Spanish phrases and comes with a blueprint to show how to customize the motorcycle and assemble parts when bike breaks down. Includes gas can and other fun accessories. SRP $34.99 at mass retailers.
This is one of those toys that I was tempted to keep for my own kids BUT one lucky Mom in the City reader will be receiving it. To win the Fisher Price Manny’s Fix – it Motorcycle, let me know what your child likes to help “fix” around the house in the “Comments” section below by December 4th at noon. For an additional entry, comment on an “Ask & Answer” or any other non-giveaway post during the promotion period.
Thanks to Disney Consumer Products for sponsoring this giveaway!

Our guy is starting to be a little Handy Man,when a toy or a bike is broken he takes it apart and fixes them. He has learned to fix a flat tire, and has shown his younger cousin how to do it.
Our son “fixes” everything! Of course, he has his Home Depot Tool Kit and on any given day you can find him hammering a wall, fixing his car, or just fixing imaginary screws around the house! Hopefully, we can teach him to be that handy and helpful as he grows up!
My son loves to take his pretend screwdriver and pretend to screw in the nails in the chair. I think he would love to fix anything if he had the right “tools”
They like to fix what they tear up! “I’ll fix it”. They have a tendency to always fix the little toy cars. Maybe no car repair bills in the future.
Our son fixes the tires on his make pretend jeep. He puts a very concerend face as he is fixing it, and really believes that he is doing it!

my daughter has a sit and spin which she constantly flips over and pretends to be fixing.
My little guy loves to just use the drill, not necessarily to “fix” things, just to watch it spin. I am sure as he gets older, he will be trying to fix everything though.

P.S….. the time on your blog seems to be off. I postd my comment at 11:53 p.m. EST time and it listed it as 12:53 p.m. – plus your contest notes didn’t say what time zone you were using for the cutoff time so you may get many entries that appear to be “late” that really weren’t for the time zone those people were in, or weren’t if you went by the western time zone as a cutoff, which is what most bloggers do if they don’t list a specific time zone. Just hoping that legitimate entries won’t be thrown out before a winner is chosen in each contest.
