Measy Makes Tough Technology Choices Easy

Yes…there are many Internet startups. I just so happen to like Measy, a NYC-based one that helps you find the “perfect gadget”. I don’t know about “perfect”, but it is simple to use and gives helpful information.

Right now, Measy helps readers choose digital cameras, DSLRs, HDTVs, Netbooks and Smartphones. You take a short quiz (budget range and what is important to you in the product) and they tell you the best product match. This site probably won’t impress you if you’re super techie. For those of us (like me) who are not, it’s an easy way to get matched with various electronic products that will meet our needs. Lastly, I just like the simple, clean look of the site. I hope that they keep that as they grow. My regular readers know that I’m a minimalist. When there are too many competing visuals going on, it makes me leave sites quicker – even if they have great content.

(The site has only been open to the public since November 2009, and they have already been featured in the New York Times. Not bad…)
