What Is On Your Gadget Wish List?

2/26 Update: I like to keep you all updated on products that I recommend. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with the TwitterPeek that I bought, so I cannot recommend purchasing it. It was fine for me to send out tweets, but I rarely received my updated twitter stream – which kind of defeated the reason for my purchase. (I still hear great things about the Peek Pronto, so that might be a better purchase…)
Recently, BabyCenter revealed their “2010 Mom Gadget Wish List” Gadget Wish List. I like gadgets in moderation, so it was interesting to see which ones made the list:

Since we are a Panasonic LiHD family, I have numbers 1-4 , 7 and 10. The laptop and digital camera are my favorites. We also have 8 – 9. We bought the portable DVD player after the one a friend gifted to us “died”. They are a wonderful way to keep kids distracted during long trips. I also found it helpful when I needed to do movie reviews that the rest of the family did not want to see. I don’t have (or desire) #5 – 6. I’ll get an iPhone when Verizon starts servicing them…and not a day before.
I bought the one thing that was on my gadget wish list today….the TwitterPeek. I need to tweet at certain work assignments. Since I don’t have the desire to get Internet access on my phone (at least until Verizon starts servicing the iPhone) and I don’t want to lug my laptop everywhere, this was my compromise (at $99, it’s one-third the price of my former gadget wish list item – a netbook). I didn’t get the lifetime service, because I need to see if I like it and it works well. Also, who knows when Verizon might start servicing iPhones…
Enough about me. How about you. Do you have anything on your gadget wish list? If so, what is it? (Who knows…it might end up being a future Mom in the City giveaway…)

A smartphone. iPhones are great but I can’t justify the expense. I’d also like to upgrade our printer. I could really use an external drive for my laptop. I plan to do more vlogging this year. Are camera lenses gadgets?
That’s a really smart buy! The TwitterPeek is great. Hope you enjoy it

There’s no way I am going to buy, but I do love looking at it.
I am so with you on that iPhone thing. I have Verizon (switched from Sprint: they SUCK!) and I love their service. It would so much better if they would carry the iphone. i would be in pure heaven!! LOL
Oh and it is my first time learning about Tweet Peek. Sounds interesting but I rather have internet on my phone. I have way too many gadgets sometimes; video camera, camera, cell phone & my iPod Touch..LOL
My wish list:
1. New cellular phone since I HATE my voyager phone.
2. E-reader like Nook or kindle.
3. Wii
4. All in one printer (scanner, fax, copier, and printer)
5. Canon Xsi Rebel
6. Canon all weather camera
7. Flip it 2nd generation
8. 19″ flat screen TV
9. Ipod Sony station
These are just a few wish list….LOL.
On my gadget list happens to be a Blu-Ray DVD Player. I really need to see what the hype is for and I am usually on top of all things new tch release. I am so behind on this though. I thought it was interesting though that you bought a peek because we are giving a few away this month on Sunkissed Mommy. Let me know what you think about it. http://tech.sunkissedmommy.com/2010/01/13/peek-a-boo/
Just got a Crackberry and already hooked.
I long for IPod Touch 3G, Wii Fit, portable hard drive, wi fi digital photo frame and a Kindle.
My birthday coming up so fingers crossed for something on my list.
Funny how no cooking or household gadgets, we def a different.generation!
I have 6 of the 10 things on your list. My laptop and my DSLR are two of my most prized possessions, followed by my iPhone.
I’d also love to get a Kindle someday. A few of my friends have them and it seems like such a great way to read – compact, lightweight, and thousands of books at your fingertips!

I have most items on that list too — but have no desire for the iPhone (and I don’t have that). My BlackBerry is perfect for my needs.
My wishlist for this year? A netbook and a Flip video camera.

Yes my gadget wish list item is an E-reader, or the Amazon Kindle. I love to read and hate carrying books and figured this would be a neat way to keep organized and not have any books lying around. It’s thin enough to fit in a purse and since most books I read are bulky this is a perfect fit for me.
OMG!! I feel so out dated and need to get with the times. I only have #’s 1 and 10 from the list. (lol) for real tho.
