Congrats to the winner MJ
I don’t have any more babies, but I still interact with a lot of new and expecting moms – on a professional and a personal basis. When I was sent a Baby Bunch Baby Bouquet to review, I ended up giving it to one of the newest “moms in the city” who has an adorable baby daughter.

First, I’ll let you read what the company says about itself:
“Combining practicality with presentation, Baby Bunch gifts delight new
moms and dads with super soft, 100% cotton baby clothes craftily rolled into blooming baby bouquets and other creative shapes. Unique newborn baby presents, the Baby Bunch is safe for hospital delivery where ordinary flowers may not be permitted and makes an extraordinary baby shower gift basket.
Organic Baby Gifts make a perfect pick for eco-minded parents. And with our latest launch – onesies rolled to look like cupcakes and lollipops, baby gifts have never been sweeter! The best part? Baby Bunch baby clothing bouquets and other gifts need no additional wrapping. Buy online and ship direct to enjoy these worry-free baby presents and skip the hassle of packaging.”

Now, let me tell you the reaction (from personal experience) that you will receive when you give the Baby Bunch as a gift…
I like to give out items in group settings so that I can get a variety of responses. I took the Medium Pink Bunch to church to give it to my friend’s husband (since she is still at home with the baby). I spoke to several people before I saw him and they all commented on how pretty the bouquet was. I could tell that they had no idea what it was initially. When I turned the box around to show them what the bouquet was composed of (onesie, tee, bib and socks), everyone was like, “Oh, that is so neat. Did you make that?” That’s sweet that they thought I could make something that artistic and useful, but I have no delusions. I can’t. So, I gave credit where credit was due…Baby Bunches. Anyway, I finally saw the new dad. I gave him the box and explained what it was. He is a “guy’s guy” – tall, blonde, “manly” man – and he was delighted by the gift. (Side note: Is there anything cuter than a new dad? I overheard him sharing how amazing it was to want to look at his new daughter for 24 hours a day. Awww.) In any event, if you want to get both a crowd-pleasing as well as a parent-pleasing baby gift, strongly consider buying a Baby Bunch gift.
Now, I have two great things to share with you.
1. A discount. If any of your friends are having babies soon, you can receive a 15% discount off any Baby Bunch products (excluding shipping costs) by using Code: BUNCHGW10. You can use this code from now until March 31, 2010.

2. A giveaway. U.S. Mom in the City readers can enter to win a yellow, blue, or pink Baby Bunch Bouquet. Simply let me know your favorite baby gift (that you either received or gave) in the “Comments” section below by 2/22/10 at noon. Good luck! (As always, newsletter subscribers receive an extra entry, so be sure to leave an additional comment stating that you are a subscriber.)
Thanks to BabyBunch for providing both the review and giveaway Baby Bunch Bouquets.

The best baby gift I have given doesn’t compare to this,(sooo cute!) but I gave a 3 pack of swaddle blankets to a friend after my daughter received them as a gift and LOVED them!!! I wish they had those when I had my 6 babies, they work like a charm! lol!
thanks!
I love to give books – I set the set of Peter Rabbits books is my favorite gift I’ve given. Unlike many baby gifts, it will be in use for years and years.

my favorite baby “gift” that i received was not a tangible item, rather it was my family’s visit. When i had my first child, my mom and dad flew in from hongkong, and my sister came from virginia, she called me while she was in the greyhound bus, when i was in labor, telling me to “hold on”! And you know what my parents brought me when they came visit at the hospital? soup from a diner around the corner, and mcdonald’s french fries! (i love the golden arches, ever since i was a kid, but my parents only let me eat junk food on special occasions, well, i guess child birth was special)
my favorite baby gift is a bouncer. omg that thing works wonders. it was so useful with my first and hopefully it will have the same calming effect with my 2nd.
My favorite gift I received was my boppy. Thanks for the chance.
The best gift I received was a Jumparoo. I had never even heard of them at the time but it ended up being one of my son’s very favorite things to play in! Thanks for the chance.
I am a newsletter subscriber. Thanks!
One of my favorite gifts is the moby wrap baby carrier. There’s no better gift than being able to bond and be close to your baby and this carrier helps to make that much easier.

As a kindergarten teacher, I ALWAYS give books! I love Someday if the mother-to-be is expecting a girl and Let Me Hold You A Little Longer if it’s a boy.
I’d love to win this for my niece who is expecting her first in May.

Wow great contest! I’m a new reader and really enjoy your site. Currently pregnant, haven’t had a shower or gotten too many gifts yet – but I always love giving books, California baby tolietries, or savings bonds!
The best baby shower gift I received (Besides all the diapers!) was a set of handmade receiving blankets with matching burp cloths. I definitely would love this gift – my xmas baby is growing up so fast & outgrowing clothes~
my fav gift was a co sleeper. really helped the first few months.
My favorite was a Sears Photo Studio gift certificate and a nice frame. It was a great thought!

My favorite baby gift is a nursing coverup, I feel it is perfect for a new mom and you almost never get it at the baby showers.
I like the Large Yellow Bucket Bunch.
My favorite baby gift that I ever gave anyone at a baby shower was that I had a go at creating my own bouquet like the ones above. I managed to find a small caterpillar toy which made a great center piece, surrounded it with onesies and bibs rolled up and then used socks as the leaves. I was really very proud of it, and pleased that I could create something with the personal touch for my friend!
Bless you!! Still one more notable article, which is the reason my partner and I come to the web-site often!!
This wonderful multi-piece set makes a great first gift for a new baby! And when baby is ready for story time the Nursery Rhymes Embroidered Baby Keepsake Gift Quilt in Lullabye Luggage will be perfect. Check it out here http://bit.ly/aLSJUz.
