On Thursday night, I also went to a celebration hosted by National Mom’s Nite Out founder Maria Bailey. The event was held in the Ava Lounge, the penthouse at Dream Hotel NYC. The views, food, cocktails prizes and the company of my fellow bloggers were all excellent. Two of the highlights were the massive vase of beautiful pink flowers that I was allowed to take home after the event. (They produced so many smiles and compliments on my subway ride home!)
The gift bags were filled with many helpful items. However, the prize that put a smile on both my husband’s and my face were the set of tickets to SISTER ACT that I received. I love the theater and SISTER ACT has received great press. In fact, the show recently received five Tony nominations (“Best Musical,” “Best Original Score,” “Best Book of a Musical”, “Best Actress” and “Best Featured Actress”). I can’t wait to go on a special date there!
