Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released Space Buddies on DVD last week (February 3rd).

Well (obviously) the five talking Golden Retriever puppies are adorable. For this adventure, Rosebud, Buddha, Budderball, B-Dawg, and Mudbud are in outer space. They travel to the moon but along the way they realize that they really want to be back on earth. On their way to the moon and back, they meet a couple of new friends, Spudnick, a bull terrier and Gravity, a ferret. All of the animals learn to work together to accomplish their missions.
This DVD also comes with a variety of bonus features including hilarious doggy bloopers (which you can see here) and a brand new music video “Dancing in the Moonlight” featuring Alyson Stoner which you can see below:
There is something about this movie that really grabs kids. This is my son Michael’s current favorite movie. He would watch it every day if I allowed him to do so. Also, several Mom in the City members and their families were able to see a screening of the film in a New Rochelle theater. From the feedback that I received, everyone (kids and adults alike) really enjoyed it.
