Last month, one of the men in my Air Fryer Recipes for Beginners Facebook page asked how to cook chips in an air fryer. I shared how I made some delicious air fryer sweet potato chips. I want to give you this easy, healthy recipe today.

Easy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes, medium
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Favorite seasonings (I used sea salt, coarsely ground black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and a pinch of my favorite chili powder.)
Directions:
1. Preheat the fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
2. Peel and slice the sweet potatoes using a mandoline slicer. (If you don’t have a mandolin slicer, a vegetable peeler works fine too.)
2. Toss the potato slices in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and your favorite seasonings.
3. Lightly spray the fryer with your favorite oil. Place a single layer of the sweet potato slices into the air fryer.
4. Cook the chips for 10 minutes before removing them from the air fryer.
Recipe Notes:
*You don’t need to soak the sweet potatoes in water before air frying them.
*Be careful to only air fry one layer of thinly sliced potatoes at a time so that they turn out nice and crispy.
