Bake It Happen 2018 Raises Money For Metastatic Breast Cancer Research

Since 2015, I have shared about my friend Shari’s social media baking campaign. Shari has a food blog called My Judy the Foodie, that is inspired by her late mother who was a fabulous home cook. Shari and her sister Stacy started a program to raise funds for breast cancer research called Bake It Happen in memory of their late mother. (Judy passed away of breast cancer.) This is the 6th annual Bake It Happen and I am happy to share about it with you. The word has definitely spread and the campaign has even been showcased in the news:

Bake It Happen 2018 Details

2. When you bake one of the special recipes, share the dessert with your friends and families, labeled with the Bake It Happen logo. A cool new addition is that there are healthier versions of each recipe available this year too!

3. Upload photos of your baked goods to the Bake It Happen Facebook page, Instagram page or email address (ubakeithappen@gmail.com). $5 will be donated to The Cancer Couch Foundation (which funds research for Metastatic Breast Cancer) every time that you post or email a Bake It Happen photo. “100% of this money will, in turn, get DOUBLED and be used to fund Metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research” is another amazing new addition to the campaign!

For the last few years, I have baked one of the items. However, this year due to time (and carb!) constraints, I’m choosing to donate directly rather than bake. Either option is great, so please help if you can. Thanks!
