8/8/16 Update: I thought about this Brazilian steakhouse restaurant since the Olympics are currently being held in Brazil. Unfortunately, this Brazilian restaurant has closed. Fortunately, you can still enjoy all of the Brazilian food goodness at the Hell’s Kitchen location (Churrascaria Plataforma – 316 West 49th Street, New York, NY 10019; 212-245-0505).

This past weekend, I went to a birthday lunch for my dear friend Yemesi at Churrascaria Tribeca, a Brazilian steakhouse buffet restaurant. It was amazing and I would definitely go back for another special occasion. You can take a peek at the décor and buffet lunch that is currently priced at $39.95 per person. Drinks and desserts are additional.

The images in the video don’t even include the first course, a gourmet buffet. I couldn’t even eat a taste of everything, but I especially enjoyed the following:

-the rolls

-the mushrooms and the salted codfish/mashed potatoes mixture  (from the buffet)

-the broccoli and the mashed potato sides

-the chicken and the bacon wrapped turkey

If and when you go to visit, be sure to have a light breakfast. You probably won’t even need to have dinner! This place really was a meat lover’s “paradise”!
