I like to start off the month by sharing some of the previous month’s bestsellers from my family’s side apparel business (Our Family Tees). It’s always interesting to see what catches people’s interest.
-The bestseller of the month – the Joy Is In Itself An Act Of Resistance top – is my current favorite too. I will be including it in the Mom in the City January “Self-Care Package” giveaway. Be sure to check this site on Friday (1/8) to see the details and what else is included in the bundle.
-Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and people are already starting to shop for the holiday. It’s interesting that my romantic love tops are not the ones that are selling the most. Rather, the Nah, I’m Good anti-Valentine’s Day shirt is the bestseller. That…and a running love themed one. 🤷🏾♀️
-I read somewhere that tarantulas were popular. I don’t “get” it, but sales of the Black Tarantula shirt don’t lie.
-This Black Princess design is cute. I like it so much that I put a variation of it on everything that I have access to on Merch by Amazon (apparel, phone accessories, a tote bag and a Black Princess pillow).
-I did a gender flip for the I Love It When My Husband Gets Me Coffee shirt. The only coffee that I drink is Starbucks caramel frappes on occasion BUT I do love it when my husband Reggie brings me one. 😊
-Lastly, the newly added throw pillows have started selling. The Heart-Shaped Pan-African Flag Kwanzaa Throw Pillows sold the best in December. I love throw pillows. They are an easy way to add new touches to your home decor. (I’m buying the Choose Happy throw pillow as part of my living room refresh.)
