Aretha Franklin was right—one of the most challenging aspects of home life is figuring out what to make for dinner! When my husband mentioned he wanted to try lamb chops, I decided to make them on our George Foreman Grill.

I don’t use my George Foreman electric indoor grill that much because it’s a bit of a pain to clean. On the upside, it is a quick, healthy way to prepare dishes, especially this one. It sears the meat well and locks in the juices.
Easy Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe
Easy Grilled Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- 4 Lamb chops
- Olive oil
- Fresh rosemary
- Fresh thyme
- Sea salt
- Ground black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 Garlic cloves (optional, but highly recommended!)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill.
- Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels.
- Lay out your lamb chops on a plate or pan.
- Drizzle them generously with olive oil.
- Season them well with rosemary, thyme, sea salt, ground black pepper and fresh parsley..
- (Optional) Make a small slit in each lamb chop and stick one clove of garlic into each chop for extra flavor.
- Lightly spritz the lamb chops with oil and place them on the Foreman Grill. Cook them for 5 minutes per side.
- Once the lamb chops are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

Recipe Notes
-If you have the time, let the lamb chops marinate 30 minutes to an hour in the refrigerator. This will enhance the flavors of the seasonings.
-Don’t overcook the meat. Lamb chops are best and most tender when they’re a little pink inside/served medium-rare to medium.
-If you don’t have a Foreman Grill, you can use a regular pan. Simply spray the pan with oil and heat it over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb chops 2 at a time for about 5 minutes on each side (or until they are done to your liking).
-Once the lamb chops are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes so the lamb keeps its juices.
-Serve them hot. I usually serve them with asparagus and white rice.
Lamb chops are a great treat—tender, flavorful, and a little bit “fancy”. The only downside is that they can be pricey. The multiple times I bought lamb chops last year, they cost approximately $15 for a pack of two at my local grocery store. (“My guys” can easily eat 2-3 chops each.) A friend did mention that she gets better deals on lamb chops at Costco or ALDI, so you could try those options.
Anyway, this recipe is both simple and delicious. If you’re tired of the same old meals and willing to splurge a little on a special treat, try this easy grilled lamb chops recipe. Enjoy!
