Halloween was low-key this year. It was the easiest year ever for costumes. Michael is still enamored with his karate lessons, so he dressed as Karate Kid. Sean has been wanting Michael’s Wolverine outfit from last year and Michael let him have it. There was absolutely no costume shopping this year…yay! As far as parties and such, we attended a Fall /Fest party at church that was a ton of fun for the kids. After that, we went home. Friends had invited us to various parties and trick or treating locations, but I’m so glad that we just stuck to that one thing. The kids had more than enough treats. (Why did I buy Whoppers and Milk Duds? The leftovers are still in our home!) Most of all, they had a blast. At the end of the day, when I asked what was their favorite part of the day, they both proclaimed, “the Halloween party!” Lastly, I was able to get a 3 hour nap while the boys played and watched the game with Reggie…making it my best Halloween ever!
I hope that your family had fun this weekend. Did you do anything special during Halloween weekend?
