Earlier today, I attended the launch event for Hellmann’s Real Holiday Helpings with several of my favorite blogging friends. It was short, sweet and to the point. Celebrity chef Bobby Flay demonstrated several Thanksgiving recipes that we were able to sample. Then we stalked him until he took a picture with each of us. I mean that we waited (not stalked) while he finished some interviews. I’ll have some pictures and more of his Thanksgiving tips up next week. Meanwhile, I wanted to direct you over to the site so that you can start your turkey day prep. (Prior to this event, I primarily used mayonnaise as a condiment and in chicken or tuna salads.) Anyway, the site is at http://www.hellmanns.com/promotions/holidayhelpings/. I’m actually going to try making the HOT ITALIAN CHEESE TOASTS appetizer , one of the things that Bobby made today. It was relatively simple and SOOO good.
By the way, I just visited the site and saw that along with the holiday recipes, they have several great promotions going on. You can print a $1 coupon for Hellmann’s mayonnaise (which I happen to buy/use sometimes anyway). You can also enter to win a year’s worth of free groceries. I entered that – with three guys in our house, it’s our food bill that is crazy. Enjoy!
(FYI: I did receive a gift bag at the end of the event. It included several items including some of the Bobby Flay Food Network items that can be found at Kohl’s. I’m doing enough giveaways this month, so I’m keeping this!)
