I am a minimalist through and through. If I don’t use an item consistently, I usually give it away (if it’s in good condition) or throw it away (if it’s not). That simple philosophy extends to my kitchen. I don’t use a lot of tools and gadgets, but there are certain ones that are indispensable. My grill, slow cooker and blender/food processor are my top three.
I was reminded of this last week when my blender died. Poor thing…with all of the smoothies, marinades and such, I had just worked it to death. Thankfully, I was able to replace my beloved Ninja by buying it for $39.99 (including shipping!) from Newegg.com. Unfortunately, they are now out of stock, but you can still get my preferred Euro-Pro Ninja Master Prep Blender and Food Processor for less than $50 over on Amazon.com.
With the warm weather, I need my Ninja! (“I know why it’s called a Ninja”, Michael said when the box came. “Because it has blades and it spins around really quickly.” Okaaay…talk about stating the obvious :-)…
