Earlier this month, Casio America, Inc. invited me to an event at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) called Picture This!. It was a program that allowed children to use new digital technology to insert themselves into images and print them out to keep. I wasn’t able to make it, but I agreed to review the EX-S12 digital camera after. So, on Saturday, I took the camera along as Michael and I had a play date at the local playground…
What I liked:
-Cute, light design (easy to slip into my purse and carry along)
-Rechargeable battery (takes a little more thought regarding recharging on my part, but it’s definitely better for the environment)
-Great picture quality especially with the “Best Shot” option- you select the option closest to the one that you’re trying to shoot and the camera adjusts accordingly.
What I didn’t like:
-It took a few attempts before I could transfer the camera images to my computer with the “USB” connector.
-The instruction manual. It’s great that it’s written in several different languages, but I don’t like that there are three translations on each page. It’s distracting.
-That I have to return it. (It really is a great camera. I already have a camera, but I’d rather give it to one of you as a Mother’s Day gift though!)
