A Peek Inside the Sugar Factory Menu for the Holidays

As a mom, I am always looking for fun and festive ways to celebrate the holidays with my friends and family. So, when I was invited to the Sugar Factory Times Square special holiday menu event, I decided to check it out with a friend. I am glad that I did!

First Impressions

Walking into Sugar Factory Times Square (which opened three months ago) was a very colorful experience. The floor-to-ceiling candy wall was the first thing that I saw. The 3-D floral ceiling also added a nice, whimsical touch.

The Sugar Factory holiday menu was a great mix of classic food and drinks with creative holiday twists. We started with cocktails from their elevated bar.  I am a one-drink person so I had to choose wisely. Deciding to give my waitress a break, I spoke directly with the bartender to get her recommendations.

I like sweet drinks so I asked her what were the sweetest ones from the Wonderland Drink Menu. Initially, she recommended a.) the Spiced Apple Cider or b.) the Jack Frost. I declined both because a.) Apple drinks are not my preference and b.) I do not like coconut. Her third suggestion (The Rudolph Red Nose Margarita) was perfect though.

Dinner tastings are more my thing so I enjoyed sampling a few dishes from the Wonderland Food Menu.

I love nachos and wings so I ordered the Under The Tree Nachos and Elf Wings. Since I cook a lot, I might even recreate the wing dish (wings, buttermilk ranch, applewood bacon bits and green onions) at home. Meanwhile, my vegetarian friend enjoyed the Big Pretzel. The food was good and the portions were generous. (I could not even finish eating everything.)
