Last month I was invited to Caravan Stylist Studio’s Summertime Gifting Suite n behalf of Tide Pods, a studio sponsor. Caravan Stylist Studio is such a cool concept. It is a full service wardrobe and beauty studio (housed in NYC’s Carlton Hotel) that connects consumers with top designers and beauty brands. They also offer complimentary hair, makeup and wardrobe services for a variety of on-air and other creative guests.
In order to provide their services at no cost, Caravan works with a wonderful group of sponsors. In addition to Tide Pods, I was able to interact with the following brands – that I think are perfect to keep moms stylish this summer – and to take some of their goods home with me.
–Zoya nail polish: An amazing manicurist did my nails in a bright blue color. I normally don’t get manicures, because they usually chip within one day. I was pleasantly surprised that the Zoya toxin free polish lasted a good 4 days before chipping.
-Glasses.com app: I was able to see a preview of the glasses.com 3Dfit app. You can see how it works below. (The app is now available in the iTunes store.)
-Bobi Clothing: This line of sportswear includes some gorgeous dresses in soft, simple fabrics. They are perfect for summer!
–Oka B ballet flats: These flats are so comfortable and cute. If you have a slim to average width foot, I can’t recommend them highly enough. The flats come in a variety of neutral and bright colors and I chose the popsicle red ones as a gift. Unfortunately, my feet are wide so I ended up giving them away to a friend with a slimmer foot. I was so sad, because I received compliments from multiple people – including a complete stranger in Starbucks – the one day that I wore them.
–eBay & CFDA Tote Bag: This “You Can’t Fake Fashion’ tote is part of an initiative to educate shoppers about the problems with counterfeit goods…in a fashionable way.
– LeSportsac bags: These sporty bags are so functional. You can just pack your “get out the door” summer essentials in one of the larger bags to grab for your summer family excursions.
Nautica beach towels and bathing suits from Cielo Rosso were also in the gifting suite. (Since my towel closet is full and I don’t really need another bathing suit at the moment, I didn’t stop by those sections too long.)
As I mentioned earlier, Caravan Stylist Studio can’t function without their consistent sponsors. In any event, I left my time at the gifting suite with some fun new summer beauty and style options.
